Every time I see Mr. Cunningham he smiles and he is always wearing blue! When I caught up with him at the light I asked if I could take his picture. He said sure, removed his cap and placed it in his basket! What a gentleman and New York legend.

Here Come The Men In Hats

From berets to Borsalinos older guys always seem to have the best hats. When I was a little kid my grandpa gave me one of his old fisherman's hats which I wore nonstop for years. These days I try and mix it up and the guys above definitely provide me with great inspiration!

Advanced Style Profile: Lucy

Lucy is one of my favorite people to run into. She always wears her beret and can be seen sitting in the park on most sunny days. Today I saw her on the way to the park and we stopped to chat for a moment. She told me that many people stop and take her picture and that she has been wearing the same flower and beret for over 7 years.

Two Of A Kind

Oftentimes when I am out taking photos I get a sudden rush of excitement when I see someone truly inspiring. Yesterday I saw this wonderful lady in her big blue glasses, sitting in the cafe of the New Museum. I asked if I could take her photo and she gladly posed for a shots, laughing all the while. When I walked her back into the museum she told me that she was waiting for a friend, who happened to be celebrating her birthday. I asked if she was stylish as well and you can see from the photos above that she was a true gem. Both of these ladies were vibrant and full of spirit, not to mention they also have great style. Can you believe that they are 85 and 92 years old!
